Change Multiple Rows in a Data Grid

You can change all of the values for a column to the same value in a single action.

1. Highlight all of the rows for which you want the value of the column to change.
2. Click in the field for the column, in any row.
3. Select or type the value.

The value is propagated to the field for that column in all selected rows.

Note: Some data grids do not allow the same value in each individual field in a series of rows. For example, the Heading Names data grid does not allow for identical names for two separate headings. In this case special functionality is implemented to add a suffix to each heading name.
